What batchlook stores, where your photos go, and for how long. Last updated September 2026.

Draft. Review with a lawyer before a public launch, and update the "who runs it" section with the legal entity.

What we store

batchlook does not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. A session cookie is set when a passcode or account is used to sign in.

Where your photos go

To edit a photo, batchlook sends the working copy, any approved reference photos from the same set, your prompt and the continuity prompt to the model you chose: Google (Nano Banana 2, and the continuity-sheet writer) or OpenAI (GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst and Flare). Their handling of that data is governed by their API terms; on paid API tiers both state that inputs are not used to train their models. Nothing is sent anywhere else.

Who can see your photos

You, and whoever you give your passcode or account to. batchlook staff access photos only to fix a problem you have reported.

Payment

Card details are handled by the payment processor, never by batchlook. batchlook stores the amount, the date and the credits added.

Deleting your data

Deleting a set or a job removes its photos, edits and exports from disk immediately. Archived jobs have their originals and rejected edits purged automatically after the retention period you set. To delete everything, contact us.

Who runs it
